About this Slant Back (HMSB):
Let’s talk about slant backs. First of all there were only 39 true slant backs ever made. It’s said that 9 of them don’t exist, not sure why, wrecks and natural disasters etc.
There body designation is HMSB, if you run a V.I.N. history from AM General and it doesn’t say HMSB than it’s not a real slant back. There are companies that build copies of this truck so beware.
This truck is in excellent condition, this truck hasn’t been off road. The paint looks good and doesn’t show any oxidization—which means it was stored in a garage. No off road scrapes under the truck. No rust. The center console has no screw holes or blemishes, nor does the rear air unit or the passenger side crash pad. The interior is in as near perfect as it can be.-- stock—as it should be. Stock Monsoon, Stock Rims, Stock brush guard,-- Everything’s stock. That’s good for the collector as well as the vehicle’s value.
This truck’s value should continue to climb over the years. Only 30 said to still exist. Amazing. In ten years there’s no telling what it will be worth.
